Most of our leases are located in the cross-timbers of North Texas and south central areas of the rolling Plains of Texas. This could be described as a 200-mile radius north of Abilene, Texas. The leases vary in size but are usually located on large private ranches from 3,000 to 20,000 acres.

The spring season in Texas runs for five weeks usually from the first week in April to the first weekend in May. License can be purchased from us when you arrive to hunt. A season out of state special spring turkey license is $75.00. You also are required to purchase a $5.00 turkey stamp. Our hunt packages include a two-bird limit per hunter.

We have been guiding spring turkey hunts in Texas since 1985. Our success rate is 100% on opportunity to shoot at least one bird. Our harvest success rate is close to 90%. The turkey populations have been on a steady incline for the last 10 years. It is not uncommon for each hunter to have opportunity on more then a dozen different birds in a few days of hunting .

Our typical hunt package is for 2 to 3 days of hunting. Usually it does not take the full 3 days to bag your birds. We provide nice ranch accommodations for guided hunts with three meals a day, which are cooked and prepared to order.

At one of our ranches we have one of the best private bass lakes in the state of Texas. The fishing is absolutely fantastic, it's not uncommon to catch and release over 100 bass a day ranging from 2 to 6 pounds, and the current record is over 13 pounds. For bass fishing enthusiasts, we will combine a fishing trip with a turkey hunt at the same fee; this makes for great combination package. 2 to 5 day trips can also be booked exclusively for fishing from May to October.
